Hubs and I like to take pictures...he's relatively new to photography while I am not. See, since I was 10 I've had a camera. I started out with one of those cool leClick 110 film cameras and continued to move up in the world with a variety of 35mm automatic cameras. From time to time I'd venture out with my dad's Minolta film SLR camera (with very strict instructions on not to drop it....let's just say they don't build em like they used to. That sucker took a beating).
Anywho...cue the digital age! My real love of photography blossomed once I didn't have to pay all that money to develop my film only to find that 80% of the images didn't turn out (see, I was learning still). I bought our first digital camera (all 2 megapixels) for our first cross country trip in '02. From there it was all down hill! To date I'm sure I've spent waaaaay more on camera equipment than I ever would have on film and film development but I wouldn't have it any other way.
These days I'm packing a Canon 50D. My go to lens right now is my 1.8f 50mm but we have an assortment of fun stuff. Here's what's in my bag:
- old digital Canon Rebel XT body (back up camera)
- new Canon 50D body
- Canon 50mm 1.8f
- Canon 24-70mm 2.8 US L
- Canon 28-135mm US ISM
- Tamron Wide
- Gary Fong Light Dome
- Canon Speedlight
- Nikkor Extension Tubes
Anywho..enough droning on about my toys...on to the goods...
This blog is littered with photos taken by either myself or hubsy - you just can't help it when you have such a cute little one. I try to tag photography related posts but i'm not always consistent. You can check some out here.
